葉哲瑀的創作探討數位螢幕與消費神話之間的交集，透過其藝術創作，揶揄當代廣告的虛假造作。他擅長藉由繪畫媒介對數位介面「圖層邏輯」的仿製, 將中國傳統繪畫中符碼與精品時尚品牌的經典紋飾進行並置。從視覺上的「遮罩」批判對異國情調的消費行為,也反映人們充斥於數位視窗中，與影像之間無所不在的複雜關係。

In YEH Jhe-Yu’s work, he delves into the crossroads of digital displays and consumer culture, poking fun at the manufactured reality of modern ads. By replicating the 'layering' of digital interfaces through paint, he brings together classical Chinese symbols and high-fashion luxury prints. His use of visual “masking” serves as a critique of how exotic cultures are commodified, mirroring the intricate, ever-present connection we have with the images flickering behind our digital screens.
