陳奕龍 CHEN I-Long

陳奕龍自原生家庭賦予的宗教觀中，提出「被要求相信」的質疑，並進一步思考，宗教信仰如何被建構、被傳承與被合理化。透過自己的生命經驗，用藝術創作研究、探問，信仰是怎麼透過視覺、儀式與集體想像被形塑的。藝術家想藉由繪畫，詮釋對日常事物如何在特定視覺結構中被轉化為具有神聖感的存在。他將持續用創作提問: 神聖是否來自超越性的信仰對象，或其實源於人類對秩序與意義的建構？

Starting from the religious worldview inherited from his family of origin, the artist questions the nature of “required belief,” delving into how faith is constructed, transmitted, and rationalized. Rooted in personal experience, his practice investigates how belief is shaped through visuals, rituals, and collective imagination. Through painting, he interprets how everyday objects are transformed into sacred entities within specific visual structures. His work continues to pose his question: does the sacred stem from a transcendent object, or is it a by-product of the human construct of order and meaning?
