林弈軒 LIN Yi-Hsuan

林奕軒的創作汲取自網路迷因、YouTube 廣告、B級電影與成人影像等素材，透過運用被視為低俗、邊緣、不具價值的視覺素材，以質地強烈的表現手法，回應人類文化對物質、慾望與消費經驗的集體感知。藝術家認為，在由影像所構築的網路時代，日常所接收的大量視覺訊息已重塑了我們對「真實」的認知。藝術家透過形式去處理自我的認知體系，也在不知不覺中，以「藝術」之名構築出一個脫離世俗價值的空間，成為了奇觀的製造者，不斷創造新的視覺事件，持續提供觀眾眼球娛樂。

In his work, LIN Yi-Hsuan draws from sources such as internet memes, YouTube advertisements, B-movies, and adult imagery. Employing visual materials often regarde as vulgar, marginal, or lacking cultural value through expressive techniques with strong textures, he responds to the collective human perception of materiality, desire, and consumer experience. For the artist, in a networked age constructed through images, the vast amount of visual information receive d in daily life has reshaped our understanding of "reality." Through formal exploration, the artist processes his own cognitive system, while inadvertently constructing-under the name of "art"- a space detached from conventional values, making him a producer of spectacles, constantly generating new visual events and offering visual entertainment that keeps audiences engaged.
